The unit displays and records over 20 separate weather conditions that are selected by a press of the touch-sensitive, jumbo LCD display screen. Readable conditions include barometric pressure and trend; weather forecast; indoor and outdoor temperatures; wind speed and direction as well as wind chill; indoor and outdoor dew points; rainfall rate and daily as well as accumulated amounts; and indoor and outdoor relative humidity readings. The system also features memories for all conditions and optional user-set alarms for all monitoring functions. The backlit display on the control unit boasts a digital clock with alarm and a day/date calendar. Weather conditions are graphically displayed with a compass rose for wind direction. Easily recognized weather icons for sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy/snowy, and stormy display the forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours.
